Hand Stamped Cuffs Dipped in Insanity.

HOLA! Hi Everyone!
So... right around the same time I dove into hand stamping metal cuff rings... I also dove right in and starting stamping on metal to make wide and semi-wide Bracelet cuffs! It has been SO THERAPUTIC to stamp it all out on metal.

First off, if you didn't know, now you know: I am--- silly, crazy and a writer so stamping on metal was a wonderful discovery and I loved stamping earrings but with bracelet cuffs--- WOW an ENTIRE new world opens as the space of the cuff design lends to more room to stamp on which lends to more creativity to be spilled in the form of words, which lends to the cuffs to be dipped in insanity as I escape into the stamping mode and letter by letter I write on the bracelets what would otherwise stay swimming on my head or sprawled on a pink post-it in my cubcile.
Here are some of my few creations and the phrases that are waiting in line to be stamped only get bolder as I get braver to stamp it all out.

Stamping on Rings.

So I made the leap and started stamping on rings, they made their debut around valentine's day so I had a love theme going...
Starting the venture into ring making brings me face to face with my love for collecting new tools. I love my toolbox growing in the name of metal making jewelry!:)

Some good things about the rings are:

** It is Unisex- woman or man can wear this ring.
                           yes, I know! I finally made something guys can wear-- I just have to stamp some guyish      things on them-- in the meanwhile, custom orders welcomed!
 
** It is original- even if I duplicate the style it will never be "identical" to this exact one.
                           I mean- let's face it- this is hand stamped letter by letter, so even when I duplicate a phrase, it will NEVER be identical, so you are always getting a one of a kind item! :D

** It is adjustable so no matter how big or small your fingers are, this ring can fit!
                           That is the best part- because I have some really small fingers and always struggle with finding rings that fit so adjustable is the best way to go! It also reduces the worry if these are gifts, as to whether or not they will fit, as they can always be adjusted to each person!

Humanize the Product: Part 1

So ideally every product I place on my online store I'd like to have a person wear it, bring it to life, give it a pulse--

I'd like to have models for my products and include them in each listing... but I do not always have the TIME-- oh that very coveted thing: TIME...

So for the most part, it is just easier to take pictures of the product alone without models..

And mind you, photographs can be beautifully impactful with just an item being featured in it--

but there something about bringing a person into the product images that connect you with real people--

And I know some Shop owners on Etsy who model all their products-- and as lovely as that is-- TIME again-- who am I going to find to take these pictures of me? Especially since I always want to work at random times of the NIGHT (I am NOT a morning person, I am the kind of person who is wide awake and full of energy at night and will snooze the 7 alarms I set about 10x each every morning).

So again, not very easy to get myself in pictures or others for that matter--- but when I do get the opportunity to have a person

wear, hold, show my products it makes me happy because it is refreshing to have someone model a product you have worked hard to create...

especially if it is one of your favorite 4.5 year olds that insists on being in the picture--

beware, taking pictures is addicting.
